The Search is Over

After a year of fruitlessly sending my resume into the void, I have finally been offered a job with National Instruments. Finally. Sheesh, who would’ve thought finding a job would be so hard in high tech Austin. Pretty much every company on this side of the city is into some sort of high tech industry, whether it be hardware, software, or engineering. The problem is not that there are no jobs, because there are plenty–if you have 5+ years experience. In order to get a job you need experience and in order to get experience you need a job. It’s a vicious circle, and one that I’m more than happy to be done with.
