I've got one and every time I turn it on, it seems that I have to wait for an update. Installing games takes a long time (45 minutes or so) which is crazy when I come home with a new game disc, I want to pop it into my dedicated console and play, not wait for it to install for 45 minutes before I can play. Maybe my experience is unique, but I've been less than impressed with my PS3. It's a nice Blu-Ray player, but not a great game console. Oh, I’d be wary of a PS3.
